Thursdays from 1:00pm – 3:00pm

Every Thursday, our church opens its doors to individuals and families facing food insecurity. The Handsworth Foodbank provides essential groceries, friendly support, and a place of dignity for anyone in need.

In reaction to various national crises like the cost of living and an increase in poverty, we have addressed the community's needs through ongoing initiatives and projects, in addition to introducing new ones.

How you can help:

– Donate non‐perishable food items

– Volunteer with sorting, hospitality, or distribution

– Support financially to keep the service running

We also have access to support for those who need help and advice, which is provided by Citizen Advice.

The logo features the word 'foodbank' in green with a leaf design, and the words 'Handsworth Birmingham' in smaller blue text above it.

How you can help:

– Volunteer as cooks, servers, or hosts

– Donate ingredients, warm clothing, or hygiene items

– Spread the word

We also have access to support for those who need help and advice, which is provided by Citizen Advice.
